Once you're inside the hospital:

• Ask for directions to the L Elevator. (Or see the hospital map.)
• Take the L elevator to the 4th floor
• Make two quick right turns.
• You will now be in our lab. The recruiter's office will be in front of you, room L480.

Coming from on campus

• Enter the hospital at either:
  • 58th and Ellis, the entrance that says "Brain Research Pavilion"
  • 59th street, just east of Maryland, the Goldblatt entrance
  • 5841 S. Maryland, the Wyler's Children's Hospital entrance
• Ask for directions to the L Elevator. (Or see the hospital map.)
• Take the L elevator to the 4th floor
• Make two quick right turns.
• You will now be in our lab. The recruiter's office will be in front of you, room L480.

Coming from Chicago area, by car

• Lake Shore Drive:
  • Exit at 57th Drive (the Museum of Science and Industry).
  • Go west and curve around the museum.
  • Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance.
  • Turn right on Cottage Grove.
  • Turn right immediately on 59th st.
  • Turn left on Maryland Ave and park in the parking garage, or park on the street.
• Dan Ryan Expressway / I-94:
  • Exit at Garfield Blvd (55th St) and drive east
  • Follow the signs for 55th Street through Washington Park.
  • Turn right on Cottage Grove Avenue.
  • Turn left on 59th st.
  • Turn left on Maryland Ave and park in the parking garage, or park on the street.
• From the North suburbs:
  • Take I-90/94 to I-55 North to Lake Shore Drive South and then follow the directions above.
• From the West suburbs:
  • Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to I-90/94 East.
  • Exit on the I-55 North Exit and then to Lake Shore Drive southbound.
  • Exit at 57th Drive (the Museum of Science and Industry).
  • Go west and curve around the museum.
  • Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance.
  • Turn right on Cottage Grove.
  • Turn right immediately on 59th st.
  • Turn left on Maryland Ave and park in the parking garage, or park on the street.
• From the Southwestern suburbs:
  • Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive southbound.
  • Exit at 57th Drive (the Museum of Science and Industry).
  • Go west and curve around the museum.
  • Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance.
  • Turn right on Cottage Grove.
  • Turn right immediately on 59th st.
  • Turn left on Maryland Ave and park in the parking garage, or park on the street.

Coming from Chicago area, by CTA

• Red Line:
  • Take the Red Line to the Garfield stop.
  • Exit the CTA station, cross the street (55th street) and board the #55 bus (eastbound).
  • Get off the bus at Cottage Grove.
  • Walk 4 blocks south on Cottage Grove.
  • Turn left on 59th, and walk 1 block.
  • Enter the hospital at the Children's Hospital entrance or the Goldblatt entrance.
• #6 bus (from downtown):
  • Take the #6 bus south to 57th street.
  • Walk west on 57th street.
  • Turn left on Ellis ave, and walk about 1 block
  • Enter the hospital at the Brain Research entrance.
• #173 bus (from Belmont & Clark):
  • Take the #173 bus south to 58th and Ellis, and the hospital is on the left side of the street.
  • Enter at the Brain Research entrance.
• #4 bus (from downtown & along Cottage Grove):
  • Take the #4 bus to 59th and Cottage Grove
  • Walk 1 block east on 59th, the hospital will be on your left.
• Other buses that can bring you near the hospital are the 55, the 170, the 171, the 172, the 2, and the 59.

Coming from O'Hare airport

• Take I-90 east to Chicago.
• Exit to I-55 north and then to Lake Shore Drive South.
• From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 57th Drive (the Museum of Science and Industry).
• Go west and curve around the museum.
• Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance
• Turn right on Cottage Grove.
• Turn right immediately on 59th st.
• Turn left on Maryland Ave and park in the parking garage, or park on the street.

Coming from Midway airport

• Go north on Cicero Avenue to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55).
• Take I-55 North to Chicago and exit to Lake Shore Drive South.
• From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 57th Drive (the Museum of Science and Industry).
• Go west and curve around the museum.
• Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance
• Turn right on Cottage Grove.
• Turn right immediately on 59th st.
• Turn left on Maryland Ave and park in the parking garage, or park on the street.
